About & Contact

Ingrid Stumpf is an artist-crafter born and raised in the Reno foothills where she found her
passion for plants, animals, and art. She eventually left to study at the University of California, Davis.
Graduating in 2022 with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and Art History. There she was introduced to ceramics
at the historic TB9, where she began working full-time on sculptures and learning how to run the kilns.
Currently she is a Master of Fine Arts Candidate and Instructor on Record at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Immersed in ceramics and fiber, she plays with the weird, the uncanny, and the beautiful. Often focused
on animals, patterns, and the natural world, her forms exist as vessels or sites to explore the human
condition without the burden of a human body.
